Mission "To maintain, improve and promote Quartier Petit Champlain as a commercial and tourist product that distinguishes itself through the originality, diversity, the predominance of handcrafted goods, the quality and authenticity of the products offered by its merchant members."
Properties The Coopérative owns 26 buildings (50 commercial spaces and 38 residential apartments), which have been appraised at a value of 7.6 million dollars.
The Coopérative has partnership and preferred share capital of more than 1 million dollars and an annual rental income from its properties of $1 565 000. The Coopérative is responsible for the upkeep of its properties, as well as for developing and promoting Quartier Petit Champlain.
Solidarity and creativity produce results The merchants are responsible for maintaining the historic atmosphere and authentic appearance of this neighbourhood. Their most recent project is the magnificent Mural, a trompe-l'oeil work of art that illustrates different scenes from the daily lives of the founders of Quartier Petit Champlain.
