PROGRAMMING

July 4th - Stéphane Tellier and Dan Livingston In this musical project, Dan Livingston and Stéphane Tellier invite you on a journey into the heart of swing roots through their songs. These exceptional musicians, well-known for pushing the boundaries of traditional music for gypsy guitar and American fingerstyle, merge genres and renew styles. Their unusual and timeless repertoire blends Django Reinhardt, Frédéric Chopin, Blind Blake, Merle Travis, and numerous original compositions.

July 11th - Sara and Rebecca Sara and Rebecca, self-taught guitarists, met through a shared passion in 2011. Over a decade, they have shared their love for instrumental music on the streets of Québec, developing their harmony. In 2016, they won the national final of Univers-Cité en Spectacle while studying biology and physics.

Passionate about their classical guitars, Sara and Rebecca draw inspiration from a variety of styles, from rumba-flamenco to funk-jazz, bossa nova, and cumbia. They break stylistic conventions by integrating pedal and loop effects into their performances, creating a psychedelic, free, and unique sound aesthetic.

The duo independently recorded their first EP, "Dédicace féline," in 2023, with support from Musicaction, Première Ovation, and Ampli de Québec. The launch event took place at Pantoum last April.
