Carnaval Comes to the Petit Champlain District and Place Royale 🎉❄️
This winter, the festive spirit of Carnaval settles in the heart of the Petit Champlain District, delighting visitors of all ages. With its winter atmosphere, lively entertainment, and gourmet treats, this area becomes a must-see destination to fully enjoy the season.
An Outdoor Bar at Parc Félix-Leclerc
On the weekends of February 7 to 15, 2026, an outdoor bar will come to life at Parc Félix-Leclerc. It’s the perfect place to take a break, warm up with a drink in hand, and enjoy the district’s unique atmosphere in a charming winter setting.
Entertainment for the whole family
On Carnival weekends, Petit Champlain and Place Royale come alive with a festive program designed for all ages. Music, activities, and surprises will enhance your visits, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere true to the spirit of these iconic districts.
On Saturdays, February 7 and 14, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., head to the heart of Place Royale for Pound classes to get the whole family moving, offered by les Rebelles Studio.
Live entertainment will take place on Sundays, February 8 and 15, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., presented by Productions Logico.
Traditional entertainers and hockey players will also be on site to amuse both kids and adults.
Traditional music, an outdoor fire pit, and a magical winter décor will also be part of the experience—and everything is free! ❄️✨

Since 1985, a unique cooperative, driven by its merchants, workers, residents, and customers, has contributed to the vitality, reputation, and development of this emblematic neighborhood.
A true cultural, architectural, and heritage gem, Petit-Champlain has become a vibrant commercial hub welcoming more than 2.5 million visitors each year.

Starting in mid-November, the streets light up: endless Christmas trees, glowing overhead garlands, and sparkling installations create a uniquely enchanting atmosphere.
It’s the perfect time to stroll through the streets of Petit Champlain and Place-Royale with a hot chocolate in hand, admire the decorations, and why not do a bit of Christmas shopping at the local shops: locally made clothing, artisan creations, art galleries, cozy cafés, and welcoming restaurants.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Quartier Petit Champlain Cooperative, this year Flip Fabrique is unveiling FLUO, a new concept inspired by the 1980s.
Get ready for a vibrant and high-energy experience!
Join us at Félix-Leclerc Park on Sundays, December 14, 21 and 28, at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., for a departure toward a dazzling show that promises to amaze both young and old.
Indeed, you’ll be invited to follow the artists all the way to the grand finale at Place Royale.
Christmas Choirs 🎶
Throughout the month of December — including December 25, 26, 27 and January 1 — let yourself be carried away by the warm and joyful voices of choirs and vocal ensembles.
