Le Cochon Dingue

A Québec City institution

A veritable institution in Québec City, Le Cochon Dingue on Boulevard Champlain opened its doors on July 14, 1979, making it one of the very first businesses in the wonderful Petit Champlain district. Located smack in the middle of the district, the French-inspired restaurant with its relaxed atmosphere quickly gained a reputation for its warm hospitality and its breakfasts, hearty lunches, and fixed-menu dinners, whether for family get-togethers, romantic dates, or business meetings.

Whether you're looking for a full meal or just a quick bite to eat, Le Cochon Dingue offers a unique and typically sensory experience. Its mouthwatering menu with a distinctly European influence includes traditional steak-frites, ribs, and decadent desserts, along with a variety of culinary offerings that vary with the seasons.

House-made products

For over thirty years, the restaurant has earned a reputation for its homemade vinaigrettes, jams, sauces, and its famous sugar pie. Diners will love the tantalizing taste of its famous Pot-en-Pot, salads, burgers, and more!

European-style ambiance

There’s space for 115 diners seated inside, plus 48 more on the outdoor patio in the summer. In a distinctly European ambiance with a festive air and an abiding respect for the joys of fine food and drink, Le Cochon Dingue offers a menu with something for every taste and occasion. Why not do like thousands of Cochon Dingue enthusiasts over the years and come experience this culinary mainstay in Quartier Petit Champlain!
