A famous cultural institution in the Petit Champlain district, Théâtre Petit Champlain is dedicated to presenting music and song shows. In fact, more than 170 shows take place annually in this theater with a capacity of 230 cabaret-style seats.

Playing at the Théâtre Petit Champlain is often viewed as a rite of passage for artists. Great Québec artists such as Gilles Vigneault, Dorothée Berryman, Patrick Fiori, Diane Dufresene, Vincent Vallières, Michel Rivard, Lynda Lemay, Pierre Lapointe and others played and sang here.
